Man killed in truck accident in northern Clark County

Clark County sheriff's deputies are looking into what caused an accident that killed a 50-year old man last night in the northern part of the county.
Deputies were called out on Friday night to the 43900 block of Columbia Tie Road, near Camper's Hideaway. They believe the man was driving his truck up a steep hill when it stopped moving. He then got out of the truck, possibly thinking that the parking brake was on or it was in a gear where it wouldn't move. Investigators say the truck started rolling back toward a guard rail and pinned the driver there.
Another person in the truck got out and rushed to call for help, but the driver died before help could arrive. The Clark County Sheriff's Office hasn't released his name yet.

How sad. Camper's Hideaway is a pretty close-knit community. I wonder if this was someone who stays there. What a blow to everyone concerned!
