All of us who work in the media industry have heard someone say this and, you know what, we agree.  That is why we’ve launched 28 new neighborhood Web sites, with more in the works.  

In some Portland metro area communities we know there are already well-established neighborhood blogs. These are great sites and great resources.  However, just like there are many media sources and voices, we believe we can also become a go-to resource for you and your community.

Our contribution includes aggregated news content and discussion topics started, not only by our KATU TV newsroom journalists, but also our fleet of community bloggers and, most importantly, by YOU and your neighbors.

We are the place for conversations to start and communities to connect on the issues that are important and relevant to where you live.  We’re taking the news gathered in and from your neighborhoods and publishing it in a place you care about.
